This policy explains what personal information EmbClothes LLC (“EmbClothes,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit embclothes.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone (if you give it), billing and shipping address, the items you buy, and the personalization text you enter.
- Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe and, if you choose them, Klarna or Affirm. We don’t see or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you send when you email us.
- Site usage: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you got to our site (for example, the referring website or campaign). Some of this is stored in cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your order, including sending order and shipping emails.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To answer your questions.
- To understand how our site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve signed up for them.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store:
- Stripe, to process payments, including Link, Apple Pay and Google Pay (Stripe Privacy Policy).
- Klarna and Affirm, only if you choose to pay with them. They may check your eligibility under their own privacy policies.
- Hostinger, which hosts our website, store database and email.
- USPS and our shipping label provider, to deliver your order. They receive your name and shipping address.
- WooCommerce/WordPress, the software our store runs on. It runs on our own hosting.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
Ads and tracking
We don’t currently use advertising pixels or sell or share your data for targeted advertising. We use Google Search Console to see how our site appears in Google search. It doesn’t place cookies on your device or give us personal information about you. If we add advertising tools later, we’ll update this policy first.
How we keep it
We keep order records for up to 7 years for customer support and our tax and accounting obligations, then delete them. We keep emails as long as needed to help you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@embclothes.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia or Colorado), you may have more rights under state privacy laws. We’ll respond as the law requires and won’t treat you differently for asking.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS encryption, and payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI DSS certified. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can access your data.
Children
Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
